No decision on whether Myrtle Creek suspect could face death penalty

Coos County authorities have not yet decided whether to pursue the death penalty against Myrtle Creek resident Timothy Allen Henson, accused of gunning down his father-in-law and the former husband of his mother-in-law on Labor Day weekend. District Attorney Paul Frasier said Tuesday he does not expect to make that decision for several months. “It is way too early in the process for me to answer that question,” Frasier wrote in an email to The News-Review.
