Unsolved killing to get national audience

The family of a woman shot to death three years ago in Glendale hopes national television exposure about the case Friday will bring fresh clues to the unsolved killing. “America’s Most Wanted” will air a segment on the death of Barbara Lea Tooley, who was killed in her childhood home on Azalea Glen Road on Oct. 1, 2009, by a male intruder. The gunman also shot Tooley’s 88-year-old mother, Helen Long, who suffered several wounds but survived. Tooley was killed on her 59th birthday.
