DILLARD Two injured after motorcycle strikes deer Two men were injured Saturday evening when the motorcycle they were riding on struck a deer or other large animal on Old Highway 99 South. Anthony Belisle, 57, of Grants Pass was traveling south when he struck what he thought was a deer at 8:17 p.m. The impact caused the motorcycle to turn sideways and slid down the road. Belisle was listed in serious condition this morning at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, hospital spokeswoman Kathleen Nickel said. His passenger, Gregory Mariscal, 18, also from Grants Pass, was treated and released. …
