YONCALLA Woman struck in hand when gun discharges A Yoncalla woman was injured Sunday when she said she went to put a gun away and the firearm went off, striking her in the hand. Mellissa A. Leroue, 35, went to Cottage Grove Community Hospital for treatment. The hospital reported the incident to police. It was unclear this morning whether Leroue was admitted to the hospital or treated and released. A hospital spokeswoman could not be reached.
