Group commemorates signing of the U.S. Constitution

Speaking on the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, state Sen. Jeff Kruse talked Monday about his recent experiences at an airport. He said he was bothered by having to remove his shoes to get through security screening. Then he was angered when screeners confiscated his Leatherman mini tool. “I never thought of it as a weapon, but they did, and they took it,” Kruse said. To top things off, they took his toothpaste.
