ROSEBURG Man arrested after leaving child alone A Roseburg man was arrested Monday after leaving a young child unattended at a residence in the 1100 block of Southeast Pine Street. Mark Daniel Cole, 32, was baby-sitting the 2-year-old girl when he allegedly became intoxicated and left the toddler alone in the house for about 30 minutes, according to a report from the Roseburg Police Department. Cole was detained by police and accused of second-degree child neglect. He was taken to the Douglas County Jail, where he was being held this morning on $6,250 bail. …
