Crafters provide cash for South Umpqua students trip

TRI CITY SUHS wins award The Douglas County Crafters have given South Umpqua High School the $4,180 Student Enrichment Activities Award to spend on a student trip to New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. South Umpqua High School competed with other schools in the South Umpqua School District for the award. Funds for the award were raised during the fourth annual Canyonville Craft Fair on Sept. 1.
