ROSEBURG Cobb student wins quick draw Cobb School second-grader LeeAnn Laub won first place in her age group in the Umpqua Valley Arts Association plein air quick draw competition in downtown Roseburg on Sept. 6. The competition, which included youth and adult divisions, gave participants two hours to complete an artwork inspired by the scenery in downtown Roseburg. LeAnn was among students from throughout Douglas County who participated. Her drawing will be professionally matted, framed and hung from Sept. 7 to Oct. 19 in the student art gallery at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center in Roseburg. …
