REEDSPORT Woman injured in highway crash A Coos Bay woman was injured Wednesday after driving off Highway 38 into the Deans Creek elk viewing area four miles east of Reedsport. Dana Knowlton, 26, was traveling east at 11:28 a.m. when she drove off the road and struck a boulder. The 1986 Toyota Tercel coupe she was driving then went airborne for 80 feet, clearing a fence and landing in the elk pasture, according to the Oregon State Police.
