WINSTON — Amy Kottke remembers traveling through Wildlife Safari as a kid and watching an ostrich stick its head through the car window to sample a snow cone in her friend’s hand. “I’m pretty sure she jumped to the back,” the 23-year-old Roseburg resident said. “That was her first time (at Wildlife Safari).” Kottke pushed her 3-year-old daughter, Kaylin Jones, in a stroller around the Safari Village Saturday, showing the girl around a place she frequented while growing up in Roseburg.
