ROSEBURG Man accused of ‘tagging’ A 26-year-old Roseburg man who police say was seen by an officer painting graffiti on downtown buildings was arrested Sunday. Jeremiah Henry McCarthy was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of second-degree criminal mischief. He was also served with a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He later posted bail and was released. Roseburg Officer Eric Schreiber reported that he was patrolling downtown at about 2:30 a.m. when he noticed graffiti on several buildings in the 300 and 400 blocks of Southeast Jackson Street. …
