EARNEST PLAYS ON — Umpqua Actors Community Theatre offers more performances of “The Importance of Being Earnest” this weekend. Directed by David Jones, the popular Oscar Wilde play is a comedy about a Victorian courtship. Bachelors Jack and Algernon lead double lives to woo two women. Through clever manipulation and comedic confusion, the two men must backtrack after they are caught in their lies. The play is staged at 7:30 tonight and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Betty Long Unruh Theatre, 1614 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg. Tickets are $10.
