Roseburg health care group checks preschoolers

At first glance, the First United Methodist Church on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg appeared to be in chaos Monday afternoon as 100 preschoolers buzzed about. On closer inspection it became clear that there was a method to the madhouse. The kids made their way in groups to stations, alternating between eye exams and puzzles, dental screenings and face painting. They were the second of four groups of kids, about 370 in all, who will benefit from free health and cognitive screenings this week at the Head Start Child Health Fair.
