When people think about possible changes in the country, their concerns are more often for the effects of the changes on their children or grandchildren than on themselves. Parents with daughters and grandparents with granddaughters may be concerned regarding Romney’s plan to limit women’s health care. He has declared that he will abolish Planned Parenthood, which furnishes health care to women, i.e., cancer screening, diabetes screening, x-rays, blood work, etc. It should be noted that the 3 percent of Planned Parenthood funding that deals with abortion is not from federal funding.
