DOUGLAS COUNTY Coho status explained Fishermen are reminded that there is a quota for the wild coho fishery in the Umpqua River below the Scottsburg Bridge on Highway 38 and that no wild coho can be kept when caught above the bridge. The limit for wild coho from the ocean upriver to the bridge is one adult fish per day with two allowed per season in combination with other rivers until the quota is met of until Nov. 30, whichever comes first.
