A red-tailed hawk was released into the wild Monday morning after receiving a new lease on life, thanks to an observant Roseburg resident and a dedicated volunteer. Fred, as he was named by bird rehabilitator Ruth Saily, was found six weeks ago by Jimmy Harris.
