ROSEBURG Confiscated cats need donations Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center is asking for cash and cat food to help them care for 68 cats seized Sept. 20 from a 74-year-old Roseburg man by Douglas County Animal Control. Two more cats were brought in the next day, and one cat has delivered a litter of kittens while at Saving Grace. The cats’ owner, Peter Rudolph Rubin, was arrested on suspicion of first- and second-degree animal neglect. The animals were brought to Saving Grace to be sheltered and held as evidence.
