DOUGLAS COUNTY Funding goes to forest projects The U.S. Forest Service has approved funding for 36 forest projects recommended by the Rogue-Umpqua Resource Advisory Committee, including efforts in Douglas County. The committee approved $1.1 million in funds to support projects in the Umpqua and Rogue River-Siskiyou national forests. The projects are in Douglas, Lane, Jackson and Klamath counties.
