ROSEBURG Campgrounds remain open; others close for winter Umpqua National Forest campgrounds are starting to close for the winter, but some will stay open through the fall and a handful stay open year-round. In the Diamond Lake Ranger District, Diamond Lake, Thielsen View, Poole Creek, East Lemolo, Bunker Hill, Inlet, Kelsay Valley and Howlock Mountain Horse Camp will stay open until Oct. 31.
