ROSEBURG Veterans Day parade entries sought The Douglas County Veterans Day Parade Committee is accepting applications to enter this year’s parade. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, the day after Veterans Day, in downtown Roseburg. Applications to participate in the parade can be downloaded at www.co.douglas.or.us/veterans and mailed to Veterans Day Parade Committee, P.O. Box 1124, Roseburg 97470. This year’s theme is “Honoring Those Who Nobly Served the Cause of Freedom.” The grand marshals are Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom veterans.
