Brewers and beer enthusiasts will unite once again Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for the Umpqua Brew Fest. The annual festival organized by Umpqua Watersheds is a break for beer fans from the year-round attention to Umpqua Valley wineries. Beer is supreme for at least one day. Organizers expect attendance to exceed 2,000. The event, now in its third year, also doubles as an opportunity for the watershed to share information about maintaining the area’s water resources.
