It’s fair to say Sean Bowden was excited to learn his volunteer service, which includes comforting the sick and counseling the young, will be recognized in a big way. Bowden, a 16-year-old Roseburg High School junior, has devoted 323 hours to making the Mercy Medical Center emergency room a more comfortable place.
