Editorial: Jim Rudolph wins our vote for Douglas County Treasurer

It’s always worthwhile to have a challenger in a race for public office. It keeps incumbents on their toes and helps voters learn more about the duties of the office. The race for Douglas County treasurer fits that description this election season. Rather than letting Treasurer Jim Rudolph’s name appear on the ballot alone, Rae Copitka is offering voters a choice.
