For the first 46 years of her life, Judy Nigh of Roseburg didn’t think of herself as an artist. Now, at 54, she rarely goes a day without painting. Nigh attributes her transition to an Umpqua Community College art class she took in 2004. Nigh was a newly retired real estate agent who envied painters.
