ROSEBURG Cyclist critical after hitting pole A Roseburg man was in critical condition today after colliding with a pole Monday evening. Jason Eugene Clevenger, 26, of Roseburg was riding his bicycle west on Mosher Avenue near the Rose Street intersection when he ran into a “No Parking” sign. Roseburg police reported he was not wearing a helmet and received serious head injuries. Sgt. Jeff Eichenbusch said Clevenger was impaired by alcohol, though weather may have also been a factor. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center and transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield. …
