The Ford Family Foundation has hired a Salem woman with extensive experience working in higher education as its new director of scholarship programs. Denise Callahan, 39, will start Nov. 26 and work out of the Ford Family Foundation’s Eugene office, but will visit the organization’s Roseburg headquarters once a week. To take the Ford Family Foundation position, she will leave a job at Salem’s Willamette University as the senior director of alumni and parent relations.
