DIAMOND LAKE Lost hunter found cold, but OK A lost hunter was found Tuesday afternoon in the Cinnamon Butte area about five miles north of Diamond Lake after spending a cold and wet night in a makeshift shelter under a tree, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Miguel Ruiz, 52, of Sacramento, Calif., was reported missing by his hunting companion, Keith Seibert of Gold Hill, at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. The men had split up Monday morning.
