Heroes’ Breakfast raises money for Greater Douglas United Way

Teagan Phelps eagerly approached Wonder Woman. “Can I have your autograph?” the 8-year-old Roseburg girl asked, holding out a small booklet made of colorful paper. Wonder Woman, also known as Melanie Prummer, gladly obliged. While she signed Teagan’s book, the superhero let her select a lollipop from a paper sack. Teagan and other Douglas County children got to meet and interact with an array of superheroes who swooped in Saturday for a pancake breakfast at Phoenix Charter School in Roseburg.
