SUTHERLIN — Douglas County sheriff’s deputies Sunday stunned a man with a Taser after he reportedly led deputies on a car chase and resisted arrest once he was caught. Michael David Conlan, 49, of Sutherlin was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of eluding police, reckless driving, drunken driving, hit-and-run and resisting arrest. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received a report shortly after midnight to be on the lookout for an intoxicated driver who had just left a Roseburg tavern.
