Roseburg man arrested after striking sign, excessive speeds

ROSEBURG Man arrested after striking sign, speeding A Roseburg man was arrested Tuesday after reportedly driving on a sidewalk, striking a “no parking” sign and continuing east on Diamond Lake Boulevard at speeds approaching 100 mph. Police received a call at 4:42 p.m. of a man driving erratically on Diamond Lake. After hitting the sign, the 1984 Subaru coupe swerved back and forth on the road and nearly struck several cars, according to Roseburg police.
