Wrong-way driver on I-5 nabbed

SCOTTS VALLEY Driver passes out, arrested A 39-year-old man who allegedly drove a stolen car the wrong way on Interstate 5 north of Sutherlin early Saturday was found passed out behind the wheel after pulling off onto the shoulder of the road, police said. The Sutherlin Police Department was dispatched at 3:10 a.m. to look for a wrong-way driver heading north near Milepost 157, in the southbound lanes of the freeway north of Scotts Valley. Officers said they found a red Acura car parked on the shoulder near the location they were given, and Jimmy Lee Prater was inside. No accidents …
