YONCALLA Senior organizes campaign Yoncalla High School student Taryn Lowes has organized a campaign to stop the use of the word “retarded” in a derogatory way for her senior project. Lowes, who has teamed up with fellow Yoncalla High senior Chelsea Scott, has set up a Facebook page that urges people to take a pledge not to use the word.
