ROSEBURG: Woman suspected of theft attempt

A Myrtle Creek woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trying to steal from a Roseburg store and then battling with people who tried to stop her, according to Roseburg police. Cheyenne Rose Foster, 24, is suspected of putting $75 worth of merchandise in her purse and trying to leave the Thai Treasure in the 1400 block of Garden Valley Boulevard. When two employees and two men attempted to stop her, she kicked one of the employees and scratched one of the men before being detained, police were told.
