Elkton Charter School will host its 15th annual Veterans Day assembly Thursday. The assembly, which is open to the public, will start at 10 a.m. in the gym at Elkton High School, 749 W. River Drive. The school invites Douglas County veterans to attend the assembly. Elkton High School diplomas will be presented to veterans who have notified the school that they were honorably discharged from the military and not received a high school diploma. Near the end of the assembly, all veterans will be asked to stand and be recognized and tell the audience when and where they served. …
