Law officials seize heroin in Roseburg raid

The amount of heroin seized from a Roseburg home last week once would have been a major find, but it’s more routine now, the commander of the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team said Monday. DINT raided a house Friday in the 1500 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and found 3 ounces of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, scales and packaging material. Two people were taken into custody on suspicion of dealing heroin, and two others were arrested on lesser drug-related charges. “I think this is pretty indicative of what we’re seeing with heroin,” said Lt.
