ROSEBURG: Scuffle and threats precede arrest

A 32-year-old man was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly threatening to kill officers and resisting arrest, Roseburg police said. Nathan Lawrence Wilson, 32, was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and illegal possession of hydrocodone. Police reported that shortly before 10 p.m. Wilson screamed a death threat at a passing officer in the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street. The officer contacted Wilson, who police described as extremely aggressive. He allegedly threatened to punch the officer before running into a bar.
