Hunters with permanent disability permits are reminded that they can only harvest a three-point or better bull elk during this year’s Tiogo Unit elk hunts in the Coast Range . That’s a change from previous years when disabled hunters could take an antlerless elk while rifle hunting in that unit. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife made the change because the elk population in that area is below the department’s management objective.
