MYRTLE CREEK: Clothe-A-Child seeks donations

Myrtle Creek Elementary School is seeking donations for the Clothe-A-Child program, which awards children from low-income families $100 to buy needed clothing. The program is organized by the Myrtle Creek Fire Department. Students are chaperoned to Fred Meyer just before the holidays to purchase the clothing they need most. All money donated to the program goes to Myrtle Creek students, along with those residing in Tiller, Riddle, Canyonville and Tri City. Each year, different students are chosen.
