Defense asks that Dustin Wallace be given chance for parole

Child murderer Dustin Wallace deserves a shot at parole after serving a long prison sentence, defense attorney Don Scales told Douglas County Circuit Judge Randy Garrison this morning. Scales told the judge that even if given the possibility of parole after serving 30 years, his client would have to be a model prisoner, conforming to all prison rules, staying out of fights and participating in available mental health treatment to have a chance at release.
