History club gains support Kudos to the Douglas County Crafters and Seven Feathers Casino for their support of South Umpqua High School’s History Club. They have made a most generous contribution of $4,160 to jump-start the club’s fundraising for a trip to the east coast next June. The students participating will visit the birthplaces of America, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would not be possible without support. The staff and students involved would like to offer their sincere gratitude for this donation. Kudos! Taylor Groth Myrtle Creek …
