Mud-slinging is poor choice A while back, The News-Review asked readers which columnists they would prefer to read, which I felt was commendable. There generally is a good balance of Democrat and Republican writers and there is much to learn from both sides. However, this Sunday’s Republican columnist, Diana West, was an extremely poor choice. The column overall not only sounded like the rants of a poor loser, but worse, was filled with hate-mongering that only serves to divide our country.
