No jackpot winners here, but the dreams were rich

The numbers for the second-largest lottery prize ever in the U.S. were drawn Wednesday evening, and no one woke up today in Douglas County a half-billion dollars richer. But many enjoyed dreaming. “Why not dare to dream?” asked Powerball ticket buyer Robert Phillips, 40, of Winston. “I’m sure we all have some kind of fantasy we would like to spend that money on.” Phillips was among a steady stream of people who bought Powerball tickets Wednesday at Bob’s Quick Stop in Roseburg.
