Phoenix Charter School’s business class will host a holiday block party Dec. 13 in downtown Roseburg. The party will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Southeast Cass Avenue between where the street intersects with Rose and Stephens streets. The event will include a gingerbread house competition for children in second through fifth grades. The houses will be displayed in downtown businesses marked with red balloons and those attending the block party can vote for the best one using jelly beans.
