A Roseburg man fought with an intruder over a gun Thursday afternoon and wrestled him to the ground and called police, Roseburg police said. The 68-year-old resident reported he pulled a handgun on the intruder, who he said broke into his home on in the 800 block of Esperanza Court about 2:30 p.m. The resident and intruder, who police suspect was Michael Lee Hatton, 27, scuffled over the gun.
