Douglas County residents woke up to a landscape coated in a light dusting of snow this morning, prompting some school districts to delay classes by two hours and reroute buses, and for the Oregon Department of Transportation to require chains on portions of Interstate 5. Snow that fell early this morning was a teaser for more to come tonight, Wednesday night and Thursday morning, said Brian Nieuwenhuis, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Medford.
