Teens interested in creating child abuse prevention videos are being asked to apply for the Up2Us Now media project. Teens age 13 to 18 must apply by Jan. 9 to be included in the project. Participants will join in eight workshops from Jan. 14 to Apr. 22. They will be professionally mentored in technical aspects of media production. The teens also will learn about child abuse prevention and how to create meaningful messages to influence Douglas County residents to help reduce child abuse and neglect.
