Art Robinson seeks to lead Oregon Republicans

Former congressional candidate Art Robinson said today he will seek the chairmanship of the Oregon Republican Party because the party needs to be strengthened. Robinson, a Cave Junction resident, said he could rally a party reeling from the November election. Republicans lost their share of control in the state House and saw their best hope for a statewide office, Knute Buehler, lose to Secretary of State Kate Brown. “There are a lot of things that can be done,” Robinson said. “We’re not winning, we’re losing.” Robinson lost his second bid against U.S. Rep.
