A family legacy of veterans inspired a Roseburg teenager to give back and build his Eagle Scout project on the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus. Family and friends will gather with Troop 114 Scouts at the Roseburg Country Club on Saturday to present Brett Brantley, 16, with the honor. Brantley led his troop in rebuilding benches and picnic tables and renovating a volleyball court and horseshoe pits on the VA grounds.
