Quilters kick off new year The Umpqua Valley Quilters’ Guild will have its evening meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 4 and its day meeting at 10 a.m. Jan. 8. Both meetings will take place at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center, 1624 Harvard Ave., Roseburg. The evening group features a trunk show by Doris Koozer.
