The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help find a missing Oakland man.
Brian Kenny Trumbo, 27, has not had contact with his family since Dec. 11, deputies said. He left his home in Oakland and was reportedly planning to drive to Eugene in a green Ford Expedition, with Oregon license plate 816 FNZ.
Trumbo’s family reported him missing Thursday. Sheriff’s detectives have learned Trumbo’s vehicle was found abandonded in a creek bed near Dorena Lake in Lane County on Dec. 12.
Trumbo is described as 5 feet, eight inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on the inside of his forearms and has a visible surgical scar on the right side of his head above his ear.
Trumbo wears dark-framed glasses.
Anyone with information about Trumbo’s whereabouts can call the sheriff’s office investigations division at 541-440-4458 or the dispatch center at 541-440-4471. Refer to case 12-5661.
